*Christmas Morning* 2009

I took a ton of pics Christmas morning, but figured just these 2 were good for on here. We had an amazing Christmas together as a family. It was definitely one of the best ones we've had in our new house together.

Things had been a bit crazy with Caleb's 1st birthday on the 23rd, then we had family over for dinner on the 24th. But it was so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it.

This is what Santa brought for the kids. B wanted dress up clothes and a barbie. Caleb got a pick up truck like his sisters car. The look on their faces was priceless.

Caleb's birthday is December 23rd so we thought we'd have a little family birthday party for him. It sucks having a birthday so close to another holiday, but I promised him that no matter what he will always have a birthday separate from Christmas.

Caleb is quite proud of himself for being able to keep up with the other kids now. He is all over the place, and loves being able to do his own thing.

B had some of her halloween costumes out to look at last week, and came out of her room wearing this. It was so cute, especially when she started making "mouse noises" and chasing after me wanting Cheese. Hahah. It was awesome!

On Saturday (December 5th 2009) was our Santa Parade in Hespler. It was actually a great day for it bc the weather was chilly but not bone chilling cold. Steve was working o/t so it was the kids and I that walked over. B was enjoying seeing all the different people, and Caleb was soaking it all in as well. It was about an hour, but worth every minute seeing how happy the kids were.
These are the moments as a parent that I will never forget.

*Christmas Tree*

First Christmas Tree for our home. Last year I didn't bother putting one up with Caleb being due at Christmas, and a new kitten with claws. We enjoyed the one at my parents--However..this year...it's a different story.

We're having Christmas Eve here at our house, so I wanted to have a tree...not only for everyone else to enjoy, but also for all the presents to be put under for the kids to wake up to on Christmas morning.

We had fun setting it up and decorating it.

*Outside FUN in November*

This is some of the fun we've had outside this past month. Near the beginning it was so warm, all the kids needed was a sweatshirt, but towards the end a fall jacket and a hat worked just fine.

Quite a change from the usual cold temperatures and snow that we've had the past couple of novembers. It was nice to be able to get the kids out to play at the park and in the sandbox, rather than plunking them down in the snow

Halloween was tons of fun this year. With our luck, it fell on a Saturday, so Steve was off to enjoy everything with us.

B wanted to be a princess this year, so my mom (mee mee ) made her this beautiful dress. Way better then I could have done...mine would have been store bought. Breanna was so excited. She looked absolutely adorable too.

Caleb was the chicken that B wore for her 1st Halloween too. He was happy in it. No fights or tears at all.

We carved pumpkins at my parents house - this picture is B and Steves creation. He let B draw the face that she wanted, and then we cut it out.

*Kaiden's 1st Birthday*

On September 12th we celebrated Kaiden's 1st birthday. He's our special little buddy and had a great time with his close friends and family. The weather was great and the kids had fun together.

On September 10th we headed to the African Lion Safari with some friends for the day.
This was the first week back to school, so it was pretty dead. We basically had the whole place to ourselves.

Finally getting the play room painted. B had a hand in putting on the primer. She was so excited that Daddy got her a little roller.

She had a great time and did a fantastic job!

*Summer* - Came and went in a flash

Summer has come...and summer has gone!! I hardly had any spare time, which is why this is the first time in over 2 months that I've sat down to update on here. (Thanks to Alison showing me her blog, or I may have let it go another 2 months)

We had fun making new friends and spending plenty of time with old friends catching up and playing in the sun. Both kids are growing like weeds and every day they both seem to learn something new and amazing!

*Catching Up* ...Seems like that's all I ever do!

It seems like everytime I turn around, I haven't updated on here for what feels like the longest time.
I picked a few of my favorite pics from the past couple of weeks bc I have way too many to post all of them.

With summer being in full swing, we're not inside as much anymore and when I am in, its cleaning or cooking that seems to add up for me. I'll try to keep this updated a bit better over the next little while.
