*2011* - A Year In Review

2011 has come, and almost has gone. What a great year. Lots of growth, changes and plenty of love to go around. We watched our newborn baby boy Ethan grow up into a rambunctious Toddler, who might I add gets into EVERYTHING he can get his little wee hands on. Breanna started JK and Caleb entered into the Preschool years as he turns 3.

Let's start with the beginning of the new year:

January- Brought Plenty of snow, and a big round friend in the backyard.

Feburary - 3 babies bonding and starting to really all play together .
Steve's birthday is this month, he turns 31!

March - Our hearts became a little bigger this day for Mojo the gentle giant. This is the day B's interest with horses began

April- Ethan's first time at the park in the swings. What a big boy he was turning into.
Breanna turns 4!

May- Opening our trailer for the year, we were surprised to find these little sweeties inside the guts. There were 4 babies that were tiny enough for Steve to pick up. Eyes were still closed and they were squeaking. We put them in a safe spot, hoping Mama would be back for them!

June- The beginning of summer brought trips to the cottage, birthday parties and to the fair!!

My birthday is this  month! I turned 28! eek.

July - More fun in the sun, and we took the kids to the Toronto Zoo .

August - Ethan graduates to his big boys car seat!

September - B turns into a JK student.

October 8 2011 is a day that we will never forget. 2 hears became 1 and we can finally call each other husband and wife. Amazing day full of memories and it was a beautiful time.

Ethan turned 1 in November, and started walking the day after his birthday.

December - The kids are looking forward to Christmas and waiting for Santa!

We had an amazing year, and I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to see my kids growing up this year! We've had a lot of fun! ;)
I wanted to make sure this was up before the holidays get a bit hectic, so from our family to yours. Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday season and Merry Christmas! <3

* A Trip Down Memory Lane*

3 years ago this week, we were impatiently awaiting for Caleb. My kids all like to be 'fashionable late'
While this isn't my first time having a 3 year old, it is my first time having a 3 year old boy. I've heard that the three's are worse then the twos for behavior, and if that's the case.....I'm packing up ship! Haha, only kidding.

Here are a few of my favorite pics of Caleb as he's gone from a newbie to the little rascal that he is today. Caleb's birthday is only 2 days away!!

What did I do today?
Today I left some dishes dirty,
The bed got made around 3:30.
The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.
The crumbs I spilled the day before,
Are staring at me from the floor.
The fingerprints there on the wall,
Will likely be there still next fall.
The dirty streaks on those window panes,
Will still be there next time it rains.
Shame on you, you sit and say,
Just what did you do today?

I nursed a baby till he slept,
I held a toddler while she wept.
I played a game of hide and seek,
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.
I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows, I guess that' s true.
Unless you think that what I've done,
Might be important to someone,
With bright brown eyes and soft brown hair,
If that is true...I've done my share.

*He's A WALKING*

Ethan's been walking for about 2 weeks, but he's finally got the hang of it, and is almost at a 'Running pace' now. I love watching how excited they get about it.

*Cambridge Fire Station*

Today we had a tour of our local fire station (1 of 5 in our town that I learned today)
The kids all got to take turns climbing into the big rig.
B riding in the back. There's room for 3 back there
Caleb holding the fire hose with Fireman Trevor
 Learning all about the equipment

The kids had a great time learning all about fire prevention, and all the tools used when the firefighters are on site . They had a great visit with our firemen that work around the corner from us!
