*Smiles...Fun...And Fishies

We've had a lot of fun this summer...exploring different places, playing at lots of parks and just having fun. Life with 3 sure has been different, and we've made so many different memories that I know personally I'll cherish forever.

*The First Day*

Tuesday was Breanna's first *official* day of Jk. When we went to drop her off, her teacher put this in my hand. I didn't read it till I was on the way home (tears streaming down my face)
I thought it was cute, and wanted to share :)
The First DAY

I gave you a little smile
As you dropped off your child today
For I know how hard it is to leave
And know your child must stay.
You've been with her for several years now
And have been her loving guide
But now, alas, the time has come
to leave her at my side
Just know that as you walk away
And tears down your cheek may flow
I'll love her as I would my own
And help her to learn and grow.
For as a parent, I too know
how quickly the years do pass
And I remember the day it was my turn
to take my child to class.
So please put your mind at ease
and cry those tears no more
For I will love her and take her in
When you leave her at my door.

*Meet The Teacher Day*

This past Tuesday was a big day for so many kids all over the country, parents get excited, and the kids just don't know what to think. BACK TO SCHOOL!
I haven't had to experience this as a parent in the past, until now.

Breanna is in Junior Kindergarden. All day (850-310) every other. She goes Tuesday/Thursday/ alternate Fridays.

We haven't had our "official" first day yet, but she got to go into her classroom to meet with her teacher. It went well, considering I was allowed to come play too.

We colored, and played house. She picked out her cubby and hook, and we took a tour of the washrooms (bc as I was told, many kids get locked in on their first day)

All in all it was a great mini hour. She heads back for her first day September 13th.. Im hoping she is excited and walks right in herself, but I have a feeling that might not be what happens.
